The service

What gets cleaned in an interior detail?

The seats, carpets, and upholstery get a deep cleaning, then they are conditioned. The goal is an interior that looks and feels like new, not just one that has been vacuumed.

How it works

How does interior detailing work?

Interior detailing works from the top of the cabin down, so dust and debris fall onto areas that have not been cleaned yet. It starts with removing loose items and floor mats and a thorough vacuum of the carpets, seats, crevices, and trunk. Fabric seats and carpets are then shampooed or steam cleaned to lift stains and the grime vacuuming cannot reach, and leather is cleaned and conditioned so it stays soft instead of drying out.

Hard surfaces such as the dash, console, door panels, and vents are wiped down, and the glass is cleaned last. Odors are treated at the source by cleaning the surfaces that hold them, not by covering them with fragrance. A to D adds smoke odor removal to an interior detail when it is needed, and the work can be done at the shop or at your home.

Why it matters

Why get your interior professionally detailed?

Your car is more than a way to get around. It is an extension of how you live your life, and the interior is the part you spend every drive in. A professional interior detail removes the dirt that household cleaning can't reach and protects the surfaces you touch every day.

Smoke & odors

Can A to D get cigarette smoke smell out of a car?

Yes. Smoke odor removal can be added to an interior detail. The interior surfaces are cleaned first, because smoke residue sits in the fabric, carpet, and headliner, and an air freshener only covers it up.

One recent customer bought a used car from a smoker and booked an interior detail with smoke odor removal. Their Google review says the smell is "completely gone rather than just masked with heavy perfume."

Stains & short notice

Can A to D help with tough stains or a last-minute detail?

Stubborn seat stains are a common reason people call. One customer's Google review says A to D removed stains another detailer could not get out.

If you need your car done quickly, call (949) 696-0700 and ask about availability. Reviews mention Chris fitting in short-notice and same-day interior jobs, but timing depends on the schedule that day.

Do the whole car

Should I detail the exterior too?

If the outside needs attention as well, a full detail covers both. You can also add a Revivify coating to protect the paint once it is clean.

Every interior surface was thoroughly cleaned, and most importantly, the smoke smell is completely gone rather than just masked with heavy perfume.”
